"Through the FIRE program, I joined a community of advocates of different backgrounds who bonded over the belief that all people deserve dignity and happiness.   What I learned in the FIRE program continues to powerfully resonate in my writing and my life."

Thelma Virata de Castro, Playwright, Graduate of 2017-2018 Class

"The FIRE class was really on fire!  I got more than I expected. I learned a lot of new ways to help people.   Most importantly, I found my own voice and learned how to help myself."

Survivor, Graduate of 2018-2019 Class
