The Youth Entrepreneur’s Academy is helps youth ages 16 -24 develop a concept, focus their talents, and implement plans to develop a business. This Academy provides a strong foundation for long-term educational and career pursuits.
Access Microenterprise Program for Youth
Access helps youth ages 16-24 who want to become entrepreneurs develop business concepts, focus on their talents, and implement plans to develop a business. Entrepreneurship training skills can help youth overcome barriers and discover new opportunities by learning the basics of business, developing a business idea, developing a financial plan, communication and public speaking, and participate in a business pitch competition. This program is for low-income city of San Diego residents.
Young Entrepreneurs Academy
In partnership with the Council for Supplier Diversity, the Young Entrepreneurs Academy’s mission is to increase economic opportunity in under-served communities. They are taught the key fundamental structures, business plan development, industry knowledge and system models that will give them a jumpstart. All participants will start a micro-business to gain real experience in developing a business plan, raising capital and managing a business.
